With over 65 stores across Australia, we have a lot of experience and we've found that keeping simplicity at the forefront of process makes it easier for our franchisees to achieve the success they are looking for. The franchisees we look for love spending time with people, they get to know their customers and develop relationships with their local communities. To facilitate this, we make sure we look after everything else. The way it works couldn't be easier: ~ We make the cakes and savouries fresh daily ~ We deliver them directly to your store ~ You sell them with a big smile and an amazing cup of coffee (after we've helped to train you into an amazing barista) That's it!

We are a 115 year old family owned and operated brand that has survived two World Wars and the Great Depression. With a strategic brand review recently completed and research revealing an incredible brand loyalty, Ferguson Plarre is expanding its reach throughout Victoria and more recently interstate (under the Puckles brand in QLD, distribution model).

The Bakery is one of the oldest businesses on the planet so we know that we need to continue to innovate via both technology and product development & with over 1000 products and counting on our online shop we’re giving our franchisees a shop-front on every customers PC and mobile device 24/7. We’ve even developed our world first Design-a-cake function, alloweing our customers to fully personalise their next birthday cake with any photo and birthday message that they want.

It's definitely enjoyable operating a Ferguson Plarre franchise, especially when you feel you're a part of the brand.  From an investment point of view, I believe it takes a lot of hard work and commitment over a long period of time to make capital on what you outlayed on your business. In the current market investing in property is the better option, however it is an enjoyable way to earn your weekly keep. If it wasn't enjoyable I wouldn't recommend it.
